Wayward Nomads
We're a scattered handful of Elite Dangerous Commanders, pulled together less by orders than by a shared itch to see what's past the next ridge of stars.

Signal // Who We Are
Small, and in no hurry to be otherwise.
We're still a young squadron, more crew than command structure, and that suits us fine. Nobody here is chasing a headcount or working toward some five-year roadmap. If Wayward Nomads ends up being something bigger than it is today, it'll happen the way most good things do out in the black: slowly, and because somebody liked what they found.
We're built around Commanders who'd rather fly their own course than fall in line behind someone else's.
Alts fly under the same banner as anyone's main here. Quite a few of our Commanders keep more than one set of ship's papers in order, and we've never found a good reason that should matter to anybody but them.
Signal // What We Do
Anchored to the black, at home in the bubble.
Out Past The Beacons
Past the last tourist beacon, where the charts thin out and the nav computer starts guessing more than it knows, is usually where you'll find us. Exploration is the whole reason this squadron exists, and we mean the kind nobody's beaten you to: first light on a system that's never been logged, a nebula that's never had a scan run through it, the particular quiet of a place where the only thing that's passed through before is starlight. Out there, nobody's counting jumps per hour. A trip is done when it's done.
Back In The Bubble
Nobody stays out in the void forever, and nobody's expected to. When a Commander drifts back toward civilization, or just wants to stretch their legs around one of our colonies, the rest of us usually aren't far behind: trading a cargo run, working a market, picking up mining or courier contracts, whatever scratches the itch that particular week. Powerplay and faction politics are a personal call. We've never made squadron policy out of either one.
Signal // Join Us
Fly however suits your mood.
Solo, Private or Wing with your own crew, or Open with the rest of the galaxy watching — take your pick depending on what kind of day you're having. However you fly, alone or in the company of others, you're still one of us out there.

Just you, the stars, and whatever's waiting past the last waypoint.
